About David Lindahl

David Lindahl is just like you. He has no special education, no family money on which he has relied, nothing that sets him apart from so many of us who are right now feeling the frustration of working so hard for someone else and getting so precious little in return.

The owner of his own landscaping business, David Lindahl may have looked like the American dream from the outside – working for himself. But the truth was something very different. David owned a seasonal business; he worked grueling hours in season, leaving him emotionally and physically drained and in the off season, he scraped together odd jobs so that he could generate enough money to pay his bills. It was an endless cycle of work and worry and after three seasons in landscaping, David knew that there had to be another way to earn a living.

His first window into real estate came from a friend who worked in a bank. The bank owned a foreclosed home that it wanted to rehab and sell; they were looking for bids on the repair work. David submitted a bid and lost – following it up with two additional bids on other repair projects which he also lost.

After that third time David decided to just buy a property himself. Why should he do the work and then let the bank profit?
The parade of properties began there with David buying and selling properties without having any real idea what he was doing. So he set to work to put more definition into systems that would allow him to maximize his efforts and earn him the most money.

David has since compiled the most important components of successful real estate transactions. He has read all the books, listened to all the tapes – and studied them all; culling from them – and his first-hand experience - the information that has allowed him to find such great success in the real estate market. He has bought and sold houses for extraordinary profit; and bought apartment buildings that he has used for cash flow and appreciation. Over the years he has rehabbed, lease optioned, lease purchased, wholesaled, retailed, and flipped properties for amazing profit.

David Lindahl could have retired just 4 ½ years into his new profession and still could, but he chooses to continue his work in real estate investing. Why? Because he loves what he does for a living. Do you even remember a time when you felt that way about what you do? He’s having fun and he’s making money…and what better combination is there than that?
